It’s incredible how the mobile communication space have advanced so much recently. Basic computing and communication needs can be completely fulfilled with smart phones that were really uncommon a few years back.

If you are like me and prefer finding out about stuff yourself rather than being told by somebody else, then you will be thanking me for pointing out this iPhone app to you if you don’t know about it already.

Fluent News [iTunes link] is a free iPhone/iPod Touch app that aggregates all mobile-friendly news content from multiple sources into an extremely well organized app that is amazingly fast. Thank God. My Eyes Don’t Hurt Anymore When Looking At Google Calendar

There is only one concern I have with Google Apps – It’s UI. It is atrocious.

That is probably the only reason why I never used Google Reader, same with Google Calendar.

Thanks to Helvetical and GreaskMonkey, now you can have a pimped Google Calendar that won’t hurt your eyes. Helvetical extends the work done by Jon Hicks on Helvetireader, turning Google Reader into something that doesn’t “offend”.
